I wanted to thank you all for reading my random thoughts and even randomer (is that a word?) recipes. I’m wishing you all a Happy New Year that is full of happiness and delicious food.
The last 5 years have been a lot of the same for me…[go to college - go to class - do homework - get volunteer/RD shadowing/work experience]…but this year will involve some welcomed changes.
Things are happening: undergrad graduation (with a degree I actually want), moving cities, beginning grad school/dietetic internship (fingers crossed I get in), California, Alaska, and hopefully in the midst of all that something shiny will appear on my left hand.
I feel like my life is finally starting.
And part of that is due to the satisfaction and joy that I get from writing this blog. One of the happiest days of my life was when Chobani sent me two free cases of yogurt. After I told my mom about the yogurt gift she sent me a text message saying, “the real world shows itself.” And in that moment I can’t even tell you the joy I felt. Following your passion pays off.
Again, thanks for reading.
So I’ve put together a list of my top 10 most popular recipes from 2012. Here we go…
10. Banana Berry Nut Oatmeal Breakfast Bread

8. Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad (for your sandwich or sweet potato)
7. Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes (vegan, gluten-free)
6. Paprika Lime Shrimp Stir-Fry
5. No-Bake Superfruit Crumble Bars
4. Gluten Free Lemon Raspberry Scones
