This has been my breakfast game lately.
I know what I’ve said about being anti avocado in a smoothie, but I’ve changed. Just so we’re clear…this is my definition of smoothie vs. shake.
Smoothie = no chocolate
Shake = chocolate
The key to avocado in a smoothie is as follows:
1) some kind of sweetness: hello, dates, bananas and protein powder
2) ice: because it’s too creamy and too reminiscent of guacamole without it. Eww.
And adding chocolate and vanilla bean paste will help make you feel fancy.
Now.
Are you for or against protein powder? Tell me what you would use instead of protein powder so I can try it too! If I try your protein powder substitution I’ll post on instagram sometime soon and tag you (…so leave me your instagram handle if you leave a suggestion in the comments<3).
