Cookie Dough Hearts for Valentine’s Day.

If you talked to my tastebuds, they would say, “hey we really like vanilla lattes and cookie dough.” And then if I talked to your tastebuds and they said the same, then we would be friends.  And that’s how you make friends.

This cookie dough recipe is delicious and based off that vegan cookie dough for one recipe I posted awhile ago.  I haven’t tried to bake this cookie dough, so if you are in the mood for something baked…try this oatmeal breakfast cookie.

One of my priorities in life is to be satisfied by my food.  I spent far too long restricting/bingeing/overexercising…and a lot of that was linked to not eating the food I was craving at the moment I was craving it.  I’m sorry, Tastebuds, for the pain I caused you when my eating was disordered.

This cookie dough has been a tasty snack to keep in the freezer when I’m in the mood for something sweet.  A couple of these hearts + a glass of milk is a super satisfying way to end the day.

Happy cookie dough eating:)

5 tbsp butter, softened
3 tbsp brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
