Let’s talk the best maple syrup.
It’s this vanilla chamomile maple syrup. It’s so good, you guys. Delish delish delish.
So this recipe is the food to move you from summer into fall. Because of it’s smoothie nature it’s summer-y, but the maple part is very much autumn.
Maple + smoothie goodness. Yum. Then I added cantaloupe.
Never have I ever put cantaloupe on a smoothie, but I thought it’d be pretty.
And I think it kinda was.
And then there are vanilla beans and we all know that vanilla beans make your life feel fancy.
So as I’m typing this post up I’m watching 20/20 and they’re talking about Mary Kay. So story time about me.
I was in Target the other day and this women started talking to me and was asking me what I do and she was so nice and you know just making me feel really important. Then she hit me with, so do you want to join me selling Mary Kay?
No. No, I don’t want to sell Mary Kay. And I somehow gave her my phone number because I’m a TOTAL pushover and now she texts me. Like we’re friends. Great. UGH. Boundaries. I need to have boundaries with people. Where do you get those?
Hmm. I know nothing about not being a pushover, but I know a thing or two about smoothie making. And I know that if you add a frozen banana to a smoothie, it’ll make it delicious. This is old wisdom. We all know the beauty of the frozen banana in your smoothie thing. Gosh bananas are the best fruit, agreed? Agreed.
So make this way fun smoothie. You just need bananas, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla beans and milk.
It’s so summer-fall. And therefore so perfect for my indecisive-i-wish-it-was-still-summer-but-really-like-all-the-pumpkin-fall-brings people.
Did that make sense? Probably not. Just make this recipe instead of reading what I write. That is definitely the best option.

HAHAHA! I am a total pushover too, and that is exactly how I got sucked into selling Mary Kay like 5 years ago! I did it for exactly 3 weeks (and I use that saying lightly because I really didn’t do anything), and realized how weird it was and stopped immediately. So no, no I DON’T want to sell MK. Thankyouverymuch. I feel your pain.
Ugh THEY ARE SO SNEAKY!
