Pizza Bagel

This is the easiest thing in life.

It’s a pizza bagel!

It takes 4 little, bitty minutes to make.

So.  There is a bagel place that opened in Houston and they make a pizza bagel that is rather epic.  It’s all crispy, melted cheese, which is what I’m all about.  I thought I wasn’t really a bagel person, but I’m now having a mid-life crisis because I think I am a bagel person.  I’ve been enjoying them SO much lately.  Hence, this pizza bagel recipe.

But for serious.  Can we even call it a recipe? I mean, it’s like 5 ingredients.  So simple.

And so simple is so good on nights when you feel a wee-bit overwhelmed.  Like yesterday…I had a tough day at work and when I got home I needed something super quick for dinner that took zero brainpower to make.  We ended up having leftover chili that I had frozen a couple weeks ago, but had we not had frozen chili, pizza bagels would have been the way to go.

So we ate chili instead and then I turned on Fuller House and balled when DJ was crying about everyone leaving her.  No one is leaving me.  But I was just feeling emotional.  Take me back to childhood.

But since we can’t go back to childhood.  For now, I recommend dropping everything and pizza-fying your bagel.

  1. It would be so great to be able to go back to childhood. Oh the memories. I really need to watch Fuller House. I used to love that show. Pizza bagels are the best! So easy and so delish.

  2. Definitely be a bagel person! :) These sound perfect… I’m thinking they’d be pretty amazing with Asiago cheese bagels because then there’d be cheese in the “crust” and on top. Too much cheese? Nah.

  3. Bagels are hiiiigh on my love list. Funny enough, so is pizza! We made English muffins pizzas often when I was kid. I need to up my game with a bagel!

  4. Fuller House made my heart so full! That was my childhood….
