A dreamy breakfast for you!
There are few things in life more fun than french toast-ing various types of bread. Gone are the days of plain white bread french toast. Gimme a french toast-ed pumpkin bread! Or a french toast-ed cinnamon swirl bread…which is what we have here.
I love french toast because it cooks up so quick and is a sweet breakfast that still has some protein. It’s the best. And just so tasty for fall. And while I’m not an overwhelming lover of pumpkin pie spice, I do think it’s addition makes this recipe even more fall-tastic.
The amount of pumpkin pie spice that goes into these is very teeny. It’s like a whisper of pumpkin pie spice, just like I like it. It doesn’t taste like you are eating a cinnamon-ginger jack-o-lantern, which is good.

If heaven could be served on a plate, this would surely be it. This looks amazing! We made French toast on Monday, and while it didn’t have all of these spices, it was delicious. I can’t wait to try this version!
Any way french toast is served it is good! Especially when it has a touch of orange in it. Man. I totally should’ve added orange to these!
Everytime I open this website I go “oh em geee she did NOT just…..I have to make that” xD
lol!
