Ice Skating Day Date.

Yesterday I went for an ice skating + lunch + practically all day date with my friend Morgan.

I had been wanting to go ice skating this year but couldn’t find anyone to go with me.  I was pumped Morgan wanted to go.  We met at the Galleria in the morning.  I didn’t fall! So that was good!

The Galleria is very close to one of the offices I see clients at, so I’ve enjoyed getting to pop over there this year when I have a long break between clients and feel like stretching my legs.  So basically I’ve become my grandpa because I walk the mall.  Whatev.  It is so beautiful this time of year!

After skating we grabbed some lunch at Local Foods.  I went for their taco salad that came with half an avocado, tortilla strips, cheese, vegan taco meat, pickled onions and more.  SO good.  Would definitely order this again!

We also exchanged Christmas gifts!

Morgan got me the cutest notepad and gorgeous pink lipstick.

Afterwards we went shopping for a bit at Kuhl-Linscomb (if you are from Houston, have you been there? it’s amazing).  Then we headed to a new coffee shop we’d been wanting to try…Bebidas! It was gorgeous.  I’ll be back.

Vanilla latte + pb cookie for me.

We spent the rest of the afternoon working on things we each needed to work on.  Then I headed to work to see one client + lead my support group.

I’m seeing clients tomorrow, but am so excited for Christmas festivities to begin Saturday!  Our plan for Christmas Eve is church + BBQ eating (our tradition!) + present opening/family time at my parent’s house.  Then Christmas Day we’ll spend time with Andrew’s family!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

  1. I’ve been wanting to go ice skating too! There’s an outdoor rink where I live so hopefully I’ll make it there soon. Merry Christmas!

  2. What a beautiful mall! Oh my gosh.
I haven’t been ice skating yet this year but it’s still gotta happen at some point. I just moved to Arizona this last month so I need to figure out where one is….

    Merry Christmas, Kylie!

  3. Merry Christmas Kylie!
My niece has been asking to go ice skating for a while now. I need to get on it, I loved it as a kid. Blisters for days.
