What we ate at Disneyland.

YAY FOR DISNEY!

We started our day at Disneyland with breakfast at Carnation Cafe.  I went with scrambled eggs, toast, potatoes, and bacon.  Iced vanilla latte on the side <3

Disneyland offers media passes to bloggers, so Andrew and I got to get into the park for free, which was fabulous.  Right after breakfast we all (“all” being –> my dad, Quinn, Sarah, Andrew and me…my mom stayed back at the hotel with my grandma) headed to Indiana Jones.  Indiana Jones is my second favorite ride at Disneyland.  It is so fun.  We all agreed we should’ve let our food settle a bit before getting on a bumpy ride lol

After several more rides we took a break for lunch at Galactic Grill.  I went with a chopped salad + french fries for some carbs.

After lunch we did some kiddy rides like It’s a Small World and the Jungle Cruise.

Before we left we did my FAVORITE ride…Space Mountain! Which I now believe is called something else.   Maybe Star Tours? It’s so fun.  If you haven’t been on it, you feel like you are on a roller coaster in the stars.  Here’s the photo of us during the ride lol…

After a couple more rides – hello, Peter Pan – we got a snack and headed back to Laguna.  Andrew and I split a Mickey cookie and a decaf latte.

For dinner we had salad and pizza from BJ’s back in Laguna.

If you’ve been to Disneyland, what’s your favorite ride? Another question…I went to DisneyWorld one time and didn’t like it as much as DisneyLAND!  If you’ve been to both, which park is your favorite?

  1. I’ve never been to either! Neither has my husband so hopefully we can go together one day. I always see the dole whip in pictures and that’s something that I’d like to try!

    • Oh whoops I left that out! We had dole whip that afternoon too! SO FRESH!

    • The Dole Whip is my personal favorite Disney treat. I hope you and your husband get to Disneyland or WDW soon. I’m an avid Disney Fanatic. Nothing better than Disney Magic and a little Pixie Dust.

  2. Disney World!!! Granted I live in GA so we go there much more often! But I love all the different parks they have there!

  3. Peter Pan is my absolute favorite! We used to go to Disneyland every couple of years because my Grandpa lives in Anaheim. We just went back for the first time in over a decade and it was so much fun!

  4. DisneyLAND all the way. I went with girlfriends last October when we stayed in Coronado and it was SO FREEING to be there. Looks fab!

  5. I’ve only been to Downtown Disney at Disneyland, but I’ve been to Disney World a few times! Now that I’m grown up, I want to hit up Epcot to do the “drink (and eat) around the world” challenge!

  6. I went to both a week apart last summer (family vacay and then a conference in Orlando) and I agree that Disneyland is definitely more fun. Big thunder mountain is my favorite!!! And space mountain is now called Hyperspace Mountain for some weird reason…

  7. I haven’t been to Disneyland since I was like 3 years old, but apparently I was obsessed with It’s a Small World (God bless my parents). I’ve been to all the Disney World parks except Epcot, but people say that one is the best! Hollywood Studios is fun just because it has Tower of Terror :)
Ugh now I’m so wishing I could be at Disney! Looks like you all had a blast!

  8. Hands down Disney World–but my grandpa has a timeshare there and we’ve been taking family trips there since I was 5, so i”m a little biased ;) .

Glad y’all had fun, both World and Land are such magical places!!

  9. Okay strong opinion here. I’ve never been to Disneyland but Disney World was AMAZING and from what i’ve heard Disneyland isn’t as big. I love love LOVED ll the different parks at Disney world. They’re all amazing in their own ways! I’d love to be in Cali though

    • LOL. All true! Disneyland is smaller and cozier and less overwhelming haha. Disneyworld just seemed enormous to me! At the end of the day anything Disney is fab:)

  10. uhm, what? Disney World is the best place ever! You must have done it wrong ;) haha.  I have always love Its a Small World since I was a baby, I’m in the youngest in my family so we’ve been going to disney since I was three!

  11. I worked at WDW for 2 years and while I love WDW, Disneyland has a different type of “magic” there. I went to WDW in February for the Princess Half Marathon weekend and I’m going to Disneyland in November for the Super Heroes half weekend! I love Epcot(that’s where I worked!) but I also LOVE how easy it is to walk between the places at Disneyland. Plus Walt walked there so that’s cool. It looks like y’all had a great time and that’s awesome about the media passes for bloggers. I had no idea! :)
