Letting go.

Whether it’s a certain body size, an exercise routine that hurts you, a restrictive eating style, a destructive way to cope with emotions, or something else…how gracefully do you let go of things that aren’t meant for you?

  1. This is so hard to take to heart, but I know it’s true. The biggest one for me to give up was hardcore exercise, but a 5-year knee injury has helped me break that addiction. Also, letting go of being busy all the time. Some people can have a packed schedule, but I need time to rest and be at home – still working on this one!

  2. Hey Kylie. I’m a dedicated reader – I just don’t usually comment. Your art pieces are my favorite. Thank you for sharing them and these little nuggets of thought.

Letting go is by far the hardest thing for me. I simply don’t know the answer to your question. I try to let go, when I know something is not right for me, but it always ends up finding its way back.

    • Thanks for commenting, Cora:) I hear you. Choosing to do something new over the familiar is tough. But as long as you keep practicing the new thing it does get easier.
