These are so easy, so tasty, and so based off Trader Joe’s peppermint white chocolate pretzels. I tried Trader Joe’s version of these recently and loved them, but figured they’d be easy enough to whip up on my own.
These would be a great addition to those holiday cookie tins that people make for their friends and neighbors and add like 6 different desserts to.
I remember when growing up a neighbor brought one of those tins over and inside were these black balls and I tried one and thought it was the best thing I had ever tasted. And that is the story of how I met the oreo ball. Dang, those things are good.
But for now…peppermint white chocolate pretzel!
white chocolate
pretzel crisps or chips
peppermint baking chips (not regular peppermints, instead use these!)
Line a baking sheet with wax paper or a non-stick mat. Using a double boiler, melt white chocolate. Toss in pretzel crisps a few at a time and coat both sides. Use a fork to fish them out and allow some of the white chocolate to drain off. Place on non-stick mat and sprinkle with peppermint baking chips. Allow white chocolate to harden at room temperature before eating. Enjoy!
