Food we ate, Chapter 9.

Wow. This week flew by. Here’s some snaps of food we ate.

Dinner in the sunroom – soaking up this space before the move. My top bun was stolen by a baby.

I was craving froyo, so Leah and I went. She’s been eating more and more of my food, so I got her her own cup for the first time.

Speaking of kids, Jo is a more selective eater…but loves pasta. I don’t worry about nutrient deficiencies…I more worry about my capacity to keep cooking and serving bland and boring food for her and how I’m going to keep handling the constant food rejection. I bought the below chickpea pasta on a whim to see what she thought and when she tried it *and liked it* I was flooded with relief! Like, a surprising amount of relief!! A new food to add! Yay! I didn’t realize how much it’d been weighing on me. I was steeling myself for her to reject it (because that’s been the routine for the past couple *years*) and when she didn’t I nearly started crying. Ay yi yi.

One dinner we had an Asian noodle dish with eggs + rosé. Delish.

Mini quiches + salad. This was my kinda dinner with 20 ingredients lol. The quiche had honey ham + green onion + provolone. And then the salad had sugared almonds + oranges + hot honey in the dressing + a bunch more.

An easy dinner of nachos on Garden Salsa Sunchips.

I was not feeling my go-to eggs + cheesy toast, so I switched up breakfast to cereal + a latte. This was maple pecan crunch – I love that stuff.

Had a weird day one day and decided to add some enjoyment by having a lunch out by myself. It didn’t really help, but so it goes. This sandwich is called the garden sammie and if you live in Houston and like vegetables then you know about it. It’s great.

There are always bunches of photos of myself on my phone taken by Ella. This one even caught Leah’s booty :)

In other news, I’ve been enjoying going around town and looking at different furniture/decor. I’m really loving the brown/beige checkered pattern.

I’d love to do a wallpaper scene like this. Unfortunately, my wallpaper installer (Andrew) hates wallpaper.

Also, look at this mirror I DIE.

One day I walked around IKEA while listening to an episode of Love Marry Kill and geez that was creepy lol. I don’t recommend.

And that was our week. Hope you have a good one :)
