Food we ate, Chapter 10.

Here’s a peek at food this week! Best goes first…

I wanted risotto, salmon and broccolini. This came out amazing!! Andrew made it for us. He finished the broccolini with balsamic glaze and it was SO GREAT. Also, Leah is in her climbing era.

Hummus bowl for a snack.

Enchiladas + salad.

Another night leftover enchiladas.

The day before we closed on the houses, my MIL brought us Crumbl. I love when people bring me food.

Hummus plate for lunch one day. I was stressing myself out with packing, but realized I was at a place of “all dressed up with no place to go” and it was making me feel hella stressed. We couldn’t move into the new house yet, so this day I just decided to make myself chill and watch shows instead of pack or clean anything…was a good choice. I watched Love is Blind and some One Day episodes, while Leah toddled around.

The next morning I was continuing my “I need to chill out and calm down” plan, so I ordered kolaches and a latte for a fun breakfast.

Chomps stick + pretzels + liquid IV for a snack.

Ella and I had a Chipotle date before she headed to California early with my parents.

Sandwich + chips for lunch.

Had an amazing lemongrass shrimp bowl one day.

One day day for lunch my stomach was off, so I kept it simple with what sounded good – a crepe + latte.

And that was some of our food. Hope you have a good one :)

  1. What’s your crepe recipe?

  2. The baby in the mop bucket is me. Just tryin to relax and slow down a bit even though chaos reigns and it seems like so much needs to be done! I have three kids about the same ages as yours. Every time the 1.5 stage takes me surprise. So cute! Gotta watch them soooo much! So many injuries and bloody lips! Thanks again for sharing every week, it is helpful and nice. Makes me feel really normal. Good luck with the move,  remember that moving is like second on the stress scale, second to having a spouse or child pass away, so good for you for taking some breaks!

  3. The baby doll in the mop bucket is cracking me up 😂 relatable lol
